Is your ideal vacation one that
includes the horses, the kids, and the dog for a weekend of
riding ranch roads, and exploring the creeks and breaks? Here's
a horselover's dream, a place to ride and stable with a comfortable
house for the family and a hearty breakfast to boot.
The Bunkhouse: Modern 3 bedroom
home (sleeps 8), one bath, a sitting porch, outdoor grill,
and picnic table. Furnished with wagon wheel furniture and

photos of the resident wildlife, such as beaver, mule deer,
raccoon, bobcat, coyote, cottontail, and rattlesnake. A two-car
garage doubles as a game room and a place to watch the "wild" turkeys stroll by or young whitetail deer graze in the meadow.
The Breakfast: A choice of Dutch-oven
Sourdough Biscuits with Wild Plum Jelly, high-rising yeasty
Cinnamon Rolls dripping with vanilla bean icing, giant homemade
Chocolate Chip Muffins or the Hay-Hand Breakfast Burritos
(sausage, cheese, potato, egg, onion, salsa). Served with
fresh fruit or juice, milk, and The Taste of San Angelo Coffee
blended with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon.
The Barn: Historic Tack Shed,
